02: SIMPLE TENSE

tense is a grammatical category that locates a situation in time, to indicate when the situation takes place.Tenses can be divided into 4 forms which are simple form,progressive form, perfect form and perfect progressive from. Let's talk about simple form first. 


Usage of simple tenses is very important in constructing English Language sentences. There are three types of Simple tenses in English which are: 


- Simple Present Tense
- Simple Past Tense
- Simple Future Tense


Usage of simple tenses is important to make the sentence looks strong as well as to let the readers know what is the time frame of the action or situation happened. 


Then, English language also has another form which is progressive form or known as continuous or progressive form. There are three of them which are:


-Present Continuous
-Past Continuous
-Future Continuous 


Third form of tenses is Perfect form which generally used in the presence of have,has and had.Same as other forms, it uses to highlight on three situation which are:


-Present Perfect
-Past Perfect
-Future Perfect


Last but not least, this blog will also briefly discussed on the fourth form of tenses which is Perfect Continuous or Perfect Progressive.


-Present Perfect Continuous
-Past Perfect Continuous
-Future Perfect Continuous
